Happy Christmas
We’re taking a holiday from our regular newsletters in December so this is to thank you for your support during 2015 and to wish you a very happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year. 2016 promises to be one of the most important in the Trust’s history with the opening of the BAi360 in the summer followed by the 150th anniversary of the opening of the pier in October. The Regency Society has asked us to let you know that it is holding a public forum event at 7pm on 6th January at City College, Pelham Street, Brighton to discuss the future of the city s seafront. Possible topics include the fate of the West Pier, the refurbishment of the Madeira arches, the development of Black Rock, the continuing development of the Marina, the replacement of the Brighton Centre and Kingswest and plans for the King Alfred site. A panel of 4 have been invited to present their visions after which the debate will be opened up to the floor. Admission is free to members and non-members.
